Never park your van, with the gas light on, tilted! There's a good chance the gas that is there will all 'pool' to the wrong side of the van and then it won't start. Then, you'll have to have a friend drive you to the gas station to get more gas only to learn that it still isn't enough gas. Then, you'll have to recruit said friend, plus another friend, plus friend's son-in-law to push you to a flat spot!! Not that I know this from personal experience, just thinking that's what might happen if you are low on gas!!

Maybe, this post will catch us up! I ended with our trip to Florida and Pine Cove. That means, I only have January and the first 10 days of February. That seems doable! UPWARD Eric is playing basketball with his best buddy Grayson ! Jessica is playing basketball for the first time. She is definitely improving with each game. Jaelyn is enjoying cheerleading again. It Snowed!!! I grew up with plenty of snow, so I really don't need to see it now! However, for the kids' sake, I do enjoy a good snow. We got a new trampoline for Christmas. That was one of the best decisions we've made. The kids are always out there! We have a couple of pet lizards! One Jaelyn found in a friends backyard so we brought it home (lovingly named Lizzie). The 2 nd one, that same friend found one in our backyard. Her mom and dad weren't so adventurous so we said we'd 'foster' Luke! So I ended at celebrating Christmas and Thanksgiving up in Nebraska. What else has happened in the last 5 months?? We went to Danville Tree Farms and picked out our Christmas tree and celebrated Christmas! We went to SantaLand - a favorite tradition. We went to Pine Cove for their New Year's Conference (we won the trip - what a blessing!) The kids had a great time and enjoyed the ziplining the best. Hopefully the videos will come through - if not I'll keep trying. We went to Florida with friends. We visited the WonderWorks museum while we were in Florida - highly recommend! We played at the park with friends. The poor dogs got to dress up with the kids! Believe it or not, there's more - to be continued!!!

My purpose for blogging was to keep a fairly often diary of what is going on in our lives. It's fun to look back to see what we've been doing, what was important enough to blog about and the cute quips of the kids. I'm not sure once every 4-5 months accomplishes this task! So, as usual, I will do a photo catch up and hopefully get back on track in the blogosphere ! What have we been doing since I blogged last (which was September 29, 2010)? Alot ! Here are the highlights! School and ELO started! The kids love ELO (school, not so much!) Eric played football and Jessica played in a couple of tennis tournaments. Jessica went to Safety City. You are supposed to do this in the 4 th grade, but my Dad's funeral was on the day she was scheduled to go. So, I figured it would be OK for her to do it in the 5 th grade.
