Bible Drill, South Padre and Jaelyn!

April was a busy month! The first event was Bible Drill. The kids practice all year for the competition in Tyler. Jessica was the only one allowed to compete (it's for 4th-6th grade), but if you did well enough at our church competition, the church would still pay for you to go. Eric did fantastic and Jaelyn did well as well. After the competition, they were rewarded with some time at Fire Mountain. We did all the normal things we've done - play on the beach, feed the seagulls, visit the sea turtle rescue center, dolphin watch, and this year we went to Schlitterbahn. We had a great time! Yes - It's Been Awhile!

So, once again - an update in pictures! I last left you with winter activities and a valuable 'tip of the day'! So, let's start with the end of February and see if I can make it through March before I need to end this blog entry! Mr. Migeul came to our ELO class and talked about the Civil War. He was very entertaining and the kids thoroughly enjoyed having him in class! Always have fun playing with friends!! Gaga came to visit! Eric finally got a birthday cake (don't ask me when his birthday was! The girls made it for him!). Don't they look cute! We got some trees cut down! RA Racer night at church. More fun with friends. Gymnastics. Mommy/daughter weekend in Tyler. We went to the zoo, Discovery Science Place and the Brookshire's Wildlife Museum. Dissecting a pig at ELO !
